1. Who we are
Wong Chao Logistics is operated by Wong Chao International Freight Co., Ltd. and Wong Chao Business Import & Export Co., Ltd. This policy covers the public iOS app, wongchaobusiness.com, shipment requests, support, customer accounts, and private tracking invitations.
2. Information we process
- Account and identity: verified email, sign-in provider identifier, password hash when email/password is used, generated customer number, optional nickname, optional avatar, and optional unverified contact phone.
- Shipment services: origins, destinations, cargo description/category, dates, references, notes, request status, and shipments linked to your account or temporary pass.
- Tracking: safe shipment status, route, currently assigned plate, public security state, and live position only while access is authorized. We do not expose lock credentials, raw alarms, drivers, or unrelated vehicles.
- Support: the name, email, optional phone, topic, and message you choose to send.
- Technical security: session/device identifiers, app version, request identifiers, coarse service telemetry, delivery status, and security events needed to protect accounts and prevent abuse. Application logs are designed to redact tokens, precise customer coordinates, email addresses, and phone numbers.
3. Tracking invitations
A private invitation contains a public link ID and a 256-bit secret in the URL fragment. The fragment is not sent in the HTTP request, referrer, Cloudflare log, or Netlify access log. The browser posts it once to our same-origin service, removes it from the address, and receives Secure, HttpOnly, host-only session cookies. After authorization succeeds, the tracking page loads its base map through OpenFreeMap using OpenMapTiles and OpenStreetMap data. Referrer information is suppressed, and the page uses no advertising or analytics.
Before departure, an invitation shows safe scheduled details without live vehicle position. At arrival, live vehicle access ends immediately. An arrived summary may remain for 48 hours; then temporary grants and browser sessions expire. Wong Chao may revoke a link earlier when necessary.
4. How we use information
We use information to authenticate customers, review shipment requests, provide physical logistics services, show authorized shipment status, send verification/recovery/service messages, answer support requests, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, comply with law, and resolve disputes. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
5. Service providers and disclosure
Necessary information may be processed by infrastructure and identity providers including Apple, Google, Resend, Netlify, Cloudflare, our PostgreSQL/VPS hosting, APNs, and private object storage. We may also disclose information to authorized Wong Chao personnel, logistics partners required to perform your shipment, competent authorities, or professional advisers when legally or operationally necessary. When an authorized tracking map opens, OpenFreeMap receives the IP address and technical request information needed to deliver the base map. The base map uses OpenMapTiles and OpenStreetMap data.
6. Retention
Account shipment history may remain until account deletion, subject to legal and operational retention. Temporary guest tracking expires as described above. Pending email-verification and reset tokens are short lived and stored only as hashes. Shipment requests, service records, security/audit events, and correspondence are kept only as long as required for service, legal, fraud-prevention, financial, or dispute purposes, then deleted or de-identified.
7. Your choices
You can edit optional profile details, revoke sessions, remove temporary passes, control notification permission, and request account deletion in the app. The app asks for device location only after you tap the location control. A contact phone is optional and does not prove ownership. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to identity verification and lawful retention.
8. Security and children
We use encrypted transport, rotating sessions, access controls, scoped authorization, minimized logs, and tested backups. No internet service is risk free. The customer service is not directed to children, and shipment requests should be submitted by a person able to arrange a physical logistics service.
